A Bit Arty

I thought I would have a go at doing something a little different from my normal stuff.  Not sure but I like these two.

Thirlstane Castle, Scotland

When I took the pics of Loch Ness I also took this one of Thirlstane Castle.  I’ve stitched together a number of shots to get this panorama – hence it’s taken me a little time to get around to it!

Formby Beach

With a day off I’d be daft not to try for some photos.  I drove over to Formby.  The sea was too tame for great shots but I did get some lovely sun breaking through a serious cloud layer.  And just to show you can never tell what is going to happen I came across a young seal.  Didn’t get too close in case I scared it so shots are a little grainy and only included to prove the point!

Liverpool Waterfront

I had some time to kill on Saturday so thought I would explore the waterfront in Liverpool.  Some of the images shown here were part of a set I took to create a panorama of what must be one of the best skylines in the world.

Jess

I had a lesson in studio photography last week.  Looking at what I ended up with I’m not sure that I learned very much.  Nevertheless, hiding nothing here are some of my efforts.

Views of Pamukkale

Portraits

I’ve been trying to collect some portraits.  Like everything else this isn’t easy!

Firth of Forth

While in Scotland I stayed on the banks of the Firth of Forth.  Just a couple of evening shots of the firth and the road bridge.

Loch Ness

I took a trip to Loch Ness.  What an opportunity to try some landscapes.  As I drove up the shore the light changed dramatically and the wind chased the cloud.  What a day!

Southport Airshow

I had a very enjoyable but frustrating day trying to catch the planes at Southport Airshow.  Boy are they fast!
